| Stumbo leaves office with 'no regrets'
FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) - Attorney General Greg Stumbo says he's leaving office with no regrets. His office is best known for its investigation of former Governor Ernie Fletcher for alleged hiring violations. Stumbo says he believes the governor election's outcome may have been different if Fletcher's administration had cooperated in the probe. Stumbo bypassed a second term as attorney general to run for lieutenant governor alongside Louisville businessman Bruce Lunsford, but lost to Beshear and Daniel Mongiardo. The Democrat was nominated yesterday in a race for a vacancy in the House district -- the same one he represented before becoming attorney general. The special election is Feb. 5. ©2008 Associated Press. All rights reserved.
How to seek help on debts
We all know we're now in an economy in which some people are struggling to pay their bills. So it's heart-wrenching to hear about consumers whose creditors haven't been paid through their debt-repayment plans, as the Beacon Journal reported Friday. Customers of Falls Consumer Credit Management Inc. on South Arlington Street have been reporting to the Ohio Attorney General's office and local Better Business Bureau that in some cases, two months' worth of payments have been taken from their bank accounts, but creditors have not been paid. They've been unable to contact anyone at the nonprofit credit management agency. It has been closed since Christmas and it's unclear whether it is closed because of legal troubles or because of the holiday. On Friday, some consumers told me it appears some December payments were made to creditors on Dec.
Black Milk - Phat Beats, Phat Rhymes
Dre and J Dilla. Where do you cast your fallen Detroit native? Black Milk : For me, he's the G.O.A.T. He did everybody's sound and there's not many producers that can do that. He was able to do a Dre, Neptunes, Premier or Pete Rock sound. A lot of those producers couldn't mimic his style though. That's just the Detroit sound anyway. Nobodysmiling.com : So you'd say Detroit producers focus on versatility and have an array of sounds and not one signature sound. Black Milk : We have our own sound. The choppiness of drums, snappy snares...We have our own distinguished sound. Detroit producers take other sounds from other regions and make them our own. Nobodysmiling.com ...(continued below) .

Israel 'committed to dismantling West Bank settlements'
Less than a month after he took office in January 2006, Olmert ordered the demolition of nine houses in the unauthorised outpost of Amona. Violent clashes between settlers and security forces broke out during the operation, and Israel has taken no serious action since against the encampments. Bush, who arrives in Israel on Wednesday on his first trip to the country as president, has said he expected Israel to take down outposts. Palestinian president Mahmoud Abbas said today he would ask Bush to curb Israel's West Bank settlements for the sake of peace. "We wish for him first to ask the Israelis to stop the settlement building and ... guarantee once more the ending of the occupation that happened in 1967," Abbas said after attending Orthodox Christmas services in Bethlehem. Olmert has insisted any clearing of West Bank outposts must be preceded by greater progress against militants by the Palestinians.

Even the creative dreams regarding the renovation of home also faces the same consequences. .
